The former Dysart Uniting Church has closed (2000?) and the property has been sold. The church had been part of the Presbytery of Central Queensland and the Uniting Church Synod of Queensland. The church building, which had been relocated from Longreach, was opened about 1979. The building had previously been the Longreach Methodist Church.
