Comments
The former Theebine Uniting Church has closed, and the property was sold on 7/5/2014. The church had been part of the Gympie Parish in the Presbytery of Mary Burnett and the Uniting Church Synod of Queensland. The former church building had been erected/opened for the United Presbyterian and Methodist Church congregations, on 4/5/1940. However, by the 1960s it was only being used by the Methodists, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. The Theebine Community Church (see separate entry- 4570) now meets in the former Uniting Church building. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
