The Aborigines' Inland Mission Church - Former

The Aborigines' Inland Mission Church no longer conducts services at this site. The Aborigines' Inland Mission (AIM) began in Singleton, NSW in 1905, and in the 1930s expanded to NT. It is unclear when the corrugated galvanised iron church building was erected, or services commenced, but it was active in 1948, and the activities included the involvement of the Salvation Army. AIM changed its namd to Australian Indigenous Ministries in 1998. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 15/9/2025.
