The St Aloysius Catholic Church, The Oaks is part of the Parish of The Oaks (with St Joseph the Worker, Oakdale) in the Diocese of Wollongong.The church building was opened for worship on 25/10/1865, and a cemetery was established about the same time. The church building was erected on land donated by Emmeline Wild. It contains the Stations of the Cross from the former St Joseph's Catholic Church, Burragorang which was inundated by the Warragamba Dam.
