The Wattle Park Uniting Church, Wallaroo is in the Parish of Belconnen & Wattle Park and part of the Canberra Region Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The church building was opened on 5/3/1882 for the Wesleyan Methodist Church by the Rev John Clifton. It became part of the Methodist Church at Union in 1902, and then part of the Uniting Church in 1977. A transept was added and opened on 16/10/1900 by the Rev Rainsford Bavin, from Sydney.  A Sunday School had started before the church was opened with strict standards, with pupils on trial before formerly joining the class and backsliding members noted. Many other buildings have been added over the years to meet the needs of the then congregation. The church celebrated its centenary in 1982. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 18/11/2025.
