A commemorative stone records: Opened March 4th 1882 - Jubilee Stone unveiled - by - John Southwell - 1932. A plaque records: Wattle Park Methodist Church - Pioneers Memorial Vestry - Dedicated on 11th December, 1955 - By Rev M Webb L Th - These stones are dedicated to perpetuate - the memory of the families descended from - Thomas Southwell and other early pioneers - of this Church and District. The stones were collected from the homes where they lived. A plaque records: These doors are dedicated - To the Glory of God and in Memory of - Ebenezer and Elizabeth Brown - (Jesus saith) " I am the door, by me if any man enter in - he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find - pasture." John 10.9 - 22nd May 1960. |
