The St Michael's Anglican Cathedral - Wollongong + Corrimal (formerly St Michael's Cathedral, Wollongong and St Alban's, Corrimal) joined to become one parish in 2023, which is now the Parish of Wollongong and part of the Diocese of Sydney. The first St Alban's church building in Corrimal, a wooden structure, was dedicated in 1896, as part of the Bulli Parish. It was located on a site across the road from the present site. The current site was purchased in 1905, with the brick building erected in 1914. The old wooden structure was relocated to the present site by bullock team to be used as the church hall. In 1969 a new rectory and hall were built. In 1992 the church was refurbished and in the 2000s the church moved into the hall and the church building was turned in a 'hub' for community ministries. More historical information/photographs of the St Alban's church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 16/7/2026.
