The former St Mary's Anglican Church, Mundoonan/Yass River has closed and the property has been listed for sale (2025). The church had been part of the Parish of Yass/Yass Valley Anglican and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. For some time services at this location were only held when there was a 5th Sunday in the month. The church building was dedicated on 4/2/1912 by the Vicar-General, Archdeacon Bartlett. The church building was erected on land donated by the Davis Family, with many of the church furnishings donated by parishioners. It is believed an earlier wooden building existed before the present brick structure. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
