The St Andrew's Uniting (former Presbyterian) Church, Richmond is part of the Parramatta Napean Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. Early Presbyterian worship in the area was held in a converted house at cnr Lennox and East Markets Streets. The present church building was erected in 1845. The cost of construction and the land on which the church building was erected, were donated by Mr George Bowman. The tower was erected in 1877, funded by Mr Bowman, with the clock installed in the tower after he died in 1878. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
