The Grace Christian Church - Panania, is an English congregation and meets in the property at 206 Marco Ave.. This is an amalgamation of the congregations from the Padstow and Panania Uniting Churches. An affiliated Chinese congregation now meets in the former Padstow Uniting Church building, at cnr Cahors & Arab Road. This is a new and growing congregation of the Grace Christian Church.
The predecessor Panania Methodist/Uniting Church began in the home of Mr & Mrs Brown about 1949. It continued to meet there until the church hall was opened on 30/9/1950, at the cnr Marco Ave. and Topping Street. In 1962 the present site was acquired and the church buildings were relocated to the new site. The present church hall was erected in 1964 and extended in 1986.1 More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 8/12/2020.
