(The Daily Telegraph - 8 May 1888) "NEW ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH AT RANDWICK. On Sunday morning, Cardinal Moran blessed and opened the handsome and costly new church at Randwick. The Cardinal subsequently presided at Pontifical High Mass, celebrated by Bishop Doyle, of Grafton."
