The Mulbring Uniting Church is part of the Hunter Presbytery. Church meetings started in the district about the mid 1840s, in private homes. The first slab chapel was built/opened about 1853 and enlarged and opened by the Rev Nolan on 24/12/1871. The present church building was opened on 2/10/1915 by the Rev J Hopkins. The church celebrated its centenary in 2015. A cemetery is located behind the church with monuments dating from about 1871.
