Comments
The Gymea-Miranda Uniting Church is part of the Georges River Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The present church building was erected in 1961 for the Methodist Church, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. After the formation of the Uniting Church, the Presbyterian Church in Animbo Road joined the congregation at this site. The Gymea Congregational Church joined the Gymea Miranda Parish in 1977, but continued to use the church building in the Gymea shopping centre, until this building was sold in the early 2000s.
