The former St Patrick's Catholic Church, Matong has closed and the property is listed for sale (2025). The church had been part of the Parish of Ganmain and the Diocese of Wagga Wagga. Masses were celebrated in Matong from the 1890s in the home of a Mr McCormick. St Partick's Catholic Church, Matong was opened on 26/5/1918 by Bishop Gallagher, and celebraterd its centenary on 27/5/2018. 100 years and one day since it was opened. No other details are known.
