The first services of what was to become the Greenacre Methodist Church, were held in the home of Mr & Mrs H E Scholefield in 1919, and later in the Progress Hall. The church was then known as the East Bankstown Methodist Church. The first church building, now the church hall, was opened on 12/12/1925 by the General Secretary of the Methodist Church, the Rev W H Jones. The current church building was opened on 30/4/1966 as the Methodist Memorial Church. The church premises are now shared with a Korean congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 16/9/2020.
