The Salvation Army - Grafton Corps is part of the Salvation Army Australia, an international movement, which holds regular Christian worship at this location. The present hall had been a skating rink which was purchased by the Salvation Army in 1987. It was re-purposed with the work done by the Corps people and officially opened in September 1988. The building has been flooded a number of times with the worst flood on 22/2/2022. It reached a height of 60cm through the entire building. It was totally refurbished which took 19 months. It was officially re-opened at the beginning of October 2023. an earlier 1900 building, at another site, had been burnt down in 1951 and replaced in 1952. The Grafton Corps celebrated its 141 anniversary in the district on 20/4/2025. More historical information/photographs of the corps/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 28/3/2020.
