The St Laurence O'Toole Catholic Church, Forbes is the Parish of Forbes and part of the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes. The church building was erected and opened in stages. The nave was the first part and it was opened and consecrated in 1880. From 1880 to 1958 major structural additions and improvements were completed. Since them other enhancements have been completed.
