New Lambton Uniting Church - Former

The former New Lambton Uniting Church, Kotara has closed (2019?) and the property sold. The church had been part of the Hunter Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT.  The church building had been opened on 29/11/1947 as the Kotara Methodist Church. After the formation of the Uniting Church it became the Kotara Uniting Church. Later it became the New Lambton Uniting Church when the St Andrew's Uniting Church (formerly Presbyterian) congregation joined with it, after St Andrew's closed and its property was sold. When this church closed its congregation joined the New Lambton Uniting Church, New Lambton (see separate entry - 2305).
