The Fairy Meadow Anglican Church, is in the Parish of Fairy Meadow and part of the Diocese of Sydney. Ministry in the district began in the 1830s through St Michael's, Wollongong and itinerant chaplains, who conducted services and performed baptisms. St Paul's celebrated its 110th anniversary in 1969. An early Fairy Meadow church building was opened in 1882. The first dedicated brick church building was opened on 10/3/1928 by the Archbishop of Sydney, the Rt Rev J Wright. It was used for over seventy years and was replaced by the present church building which was opened by the Archbishop of Sydney, the Rt Rev H Goodhew, in 1999.
