The Gundaroo Community Church is in the Canberra Region Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The original church building was erected in 1864 for the Presbyterian Church. It was also used as a school for about a year, until a permanent school was erected. In 1952 the congregation declined and the building fell into disrepair. The building was subsequently repaired and the church was re-opened in November 1989 as the Uniting Church. The Presbyterian Church became part of the Uniting Church in 1977.
