Comments

The former St Nicholas's Anglican Church Jeir closed about 1945, and the property was sold. The church had been part of the Parish of Yass and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The church building was opened and dedicated in 1913, but closed about 1945 due to lack of congregational numbers. Furnishings were distributed to St Mary's, Mundoonan (now also closed, 2025) and St Clements, Yass. The foundation stone was removed and incorporated into the wall of All Saints, Murrumbateman. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 12/6/2025.

The exact location of the former church is not known.
