The former Currajong Uniting Church/congregation, Parkes held its final service on 19/6/2022, in the Parkes Uniting Church building (see separate entry - 2870). For some time the congregation did not have its own building, which had been demolished. The church had been part of the Presbytery of Macquarie Darling and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The first Currajong church building had been erected for the Wesleyan Methodist Church in 1863 [address unknown]. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. No photographs held.
