The St James' Anglican Church, Croydon is in the Parish of Croydon and the Diocese of Sydney. "The first formal service at St James' was held in a tent on our current site on September 10, 1882."1 The erection of the church building beginning a few months later. In 1991 St James' amalgamated with St Peter's Anglican Church, East Burwood, the combined congregations worshiping at St James'.
