Comments

The former St Paul's Anglican Church building is now privately owned. It was erected during 1866, and opened in November 1866, by the Rev Samuel Harper. It was not consecrated unitil May 1873 by the Bishop of Goulburn.

Worship continued in the building until 1977, when a new St Paul's Anglican Church building was erected at the junction of Wellington Street and Harrison Street. See separate entry.

More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 24/4/2018.

Note: Photograph taken from an historical plaque in Cressy Street, erected by Deniliquin Council and the Australia Foundation for Culture and the Humanities March 1998.
