"Mud brick church building Approx. 9.5km from Eugowra and 12km from Gooloogong. While travelling through the Central West area of New South Wales, I came upon this old mud brick church sitting in a field near the road. It had long been abandoned but still had a quiet dignity about it, like an old lady sitting in the sun watching the hurly-burly of the modern world passing by." (Photographer: John Cliff 2014).

"Five families in the Eugowra community began following the teachings of the Seventh-Day Adventist's in the late 1890s and in 1904, they built the first Seventh-Day Adventist Church west of the Blue Mountains, with 40 members. The church was built from mud, stone and grasses found on the property. A school was also established nearby around the same time. Such was the dedication of the church members, those first families of believers produced ten ordained ministers. Over time, the building was no longer used and fell into disrepair." https://www.facebook.com/pg/Bush-Churches-of-Australia-292955047784216/posts/?ref=page_internal
