The St Paul's Anglican Church, Terrey Hills is in the Parish of Terrey Hills and the Diocese of Sydney. St Paul's had its beginnings in 1940, with an open air Sunday School organised by Miss Charis Young. The first Church service was held in the Terrey Hills Community Centre on 31/10/1954, conducted by Canon Knox. The first church building was erected, essentially by voluntary labour, between 1962-65, being opened by Bishop Loane in October 1965. Over the years other buildings have been added to meet the needs of the congregation, with major extensions to the church being opened by The Most Rev Marcus Loane in December 1989. The church celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2004. [Sourced from: https://www.stpaulsterreyhills.org.au/about/ ]. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
