The St Ives-Pymble Presbyterian Church, St Ives had its beginnings when the Pymble Presbyterian Church, in 1956, began to hold services in the St Ives Masonic Hall. Land was acquired and and a church building was opened on 1/4/1962, by the Moderator of North Sydney, the Rev Harold Durbin. After the formation of the Uniting Church, this property became part of the Uniting Church. A small number of remaining Presbyterians continued to worhsip as a congregation, but now in the St Ives Girl Guides Hall. In 1980 this congregation was able to acquire its current property, and continue its ministry from there. [Sourced from: http://www.stivespymblepc.org.au/index.php/about/who-we-are].
