The LifeChurch Panania started in February 1987 when a group of people began meeting in a private home in the Milperra area. The group became known as the Macarthur Christian Fellowship when meetings were held in the Revesby Community Hall, then the Emmanuel Christian Fellowship when the meetings moved to the Milperra Public School.
In 1992, it joined the Baptist Union.
In 1996, it moved to its current site when it purchased the former Fijian Seventh-Day Adventist Church building.
