The "Macquarie Chapel Presbyterian Church is the union of two churches. Macquarie Presbyterian Church was established in the 1950s as a church plant from Eastwood Presbyterian. Initially they met in tents and celebrated when the current building was opened in 1979.
In 2001, under the leadership of Rev Richard Quadrio, a small church plant, Macquarie Chapel, started worshipping in the church building. In 2007 the two churches officially joined together with a common leadership and vision." [Extract from: https://www.macchap.org/about-us/history/ ].
