The Hornsby Uniting Church is part of the Sydney Central Coast Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The Hornsby Uniting (Methodist) Church was opened on 26/1/1896 and celebrated its centenary on 16/17 March 1996. The present church building was opened on 19/6/2010. The new building is shared with the Sydney Senal Church (Korean). The former St Andrew's Uniting (Presbyterian) Church, Hornsby (1921~1989) and the former Waitara Uniting (Methodist) Church (1931~2010) were part of the Hornsby parish. They were closed and sold as part of the latest church development. The history of the Hornsby church is complex and those interested are referred to the histories listed below as a start. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 20/9/2020.
