The St Peter's Uniting Church, Freshwater was originally located in Albert Street, where the first church building was erected in 1917. It was opened on 9/12/1917 by the Rev Prof Ronald Macintyre, Moderator-General of the Presbyterian Church of Australia. The church was renamed St Peter's in the 1960s. The building is no longer used for church activities. No details are known about the current church building or when the church relocated to its present site in Marmora Street.
