The St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Haberfield is believed to be the first church, in the world, named St Joan of Arc, after she was canonised. The first Mass in the Haberfield district was recorded as being held on 28/2/1909. The first church building was erected later that year. The present church building was erected in 1954/55 to meet the needs of a growing congregation.1 More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
