The first Anglican Church in Eastwood was erected about 1884, but later removed due to dwindling numbers. The present church was begun with support from St Anne's Anglican Church, Ryde. The original church building was erected in 1906/7 on land donated by the Darvall family with 100 pounds given by Mr E Terry towards the building cost. It was opened on 28/4/1907. It was granted parish status in 1919, and up until this time ministers had been supplied by St Anne's.1 The church also holds Chinese and Korean services. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 31/8/2020.
