The Sydney Unitarian Church began in the 1850s. Its first church building was a Wesleyan Chapel located at the corner of Martin Place and Macquarie Street, the site of the present Reserve Bank of Australia. It was opened on 6/11/1853. It next moved to Liverpool Street and erected a church there which was opened on 30/8/1879. This building was destroyed by fire about 1936. It then moved to Francis Street, where it is still located and opened a church there in 1940. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congegation are invited. Photograph uploaded 22/8/2020.
