Comments

The first St Michael's Catholic Church building completed in 1848, was blessed and opened by Archbishop John Polding. The building also served as a school during the week. The original church building 'was enlarged in 1925, with stone, which once formed part of the old St Mary's Cathedral, being donated by Archbishop Kelly.'
