(Sydney Morning Herald - 23 April 1888) "ALL SAINTS' CHURCH, HUNTER'S HILL. The formal opening of All Saints' Church (Church of England), Hunter's Hill, took place yesterday morning, when there was a large and influential congregation, his Excellency the Governor and Lady Carrington being among the worshippers. The Church has been in course of construction for the past three and a-half years, the foundation-stone having been laid by the Primate as far back as May 30, 1885, and up to the present time between £7000 and £8000 have been expended upon it."
