(The Kiama Independent - 9 September 1879)   "Jamberoo. The long delayed visit of Archbishop Vaughan for the purpose of consecrating the new church, took place on Sunday last; and was the occasion, as might have been expected, of a very large gathering of the people of his communion, and not of those alone. Dr. Vaughan, had travelled overland from Sydney down the South Coast district during the week".

No other details are known about the church. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 8/4/2018 & 12/5/2021.
