The new church of St. Brendan at Annandale was opened by the Archbishop of Sydney on Sunday afternoon in the presence of a big gathering of the parishioners and their friends from adjacent parishes. Indeed, so many assembled for the ceremony that the edifice, which is designed to accommodate 600 persons, was not only over crowded, but numbers were unable to gain admission at all."
