The Hunter Baillie Memorial Presbyterian Church was financed personally, at a cost of more than £35,000, by Mrs Helen Hunter Baillie (née Mackie) as a memorial to her husband, John Hunter Baillie who died in 1854 at age thirty-five. The architect was Arthur Blacket, son of the famous colonial architect Edmund Blacket. The spire (the tallest in Sydney) reaches a height of 56 metres, the tallest in New South Wales. The church was opened on 23/2/1889.
No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 3/4/2018 & 14/6/2020.
