The Berrigan Presbyterian Church is part of the Presbytery of Southern Rivers and the Presbyterian Church of NSW. The first church building, St John's was opened on 11/7/1897 by the Moderator-General the Rev Dr Bruce. Earlier services had been held in the School of Arts from about  1894. A porch was added to the building in 1898 in memory of the Rev John Valentine, who was instrumental in the erection of the church and a leading local citizen. This building was sold in the late 1970s after the formation of the Uniting Church. The present church building was erected by the continuing Presbyterians. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 4/8/2023.
