Comments

The present Bigga Uniting Church building was opened on 8/4/1906. It was built on land donated by Mr A. E. McDonald. The first service was conducted by the Rev J. Calvert. Wesleyan/Methodist services began in Bigga as early as 1872 and were held in private homes until a Union Church building was opened in 1884. This building was used by the Methodists, Anglicans and Presbyterians, until they erected their own buildngs. It would appear regular services are no longer held at this location. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 11/7/2021.
