The St Luke's Anglican Church, Brownsville is in the Parish of Dapto, and functions in conjunction with Dapto Anglican Church, and is part of the Diocese of Sydney. The original church building was erected about 1882, on land donated by George Brown.  The name 'The Osborne Memorial Church of St Luke' was in recognition of the local land owner, and businessman, who gave the land for the church building.
