The St Bede's Catholic Church, Appin is part of the Parish of Rosemeadow and the Diocese of Wollongong. Prior to the erection of a church building, Fr John Summer celebrated Mass on Gordon's Farm and later in a cottage, until the church building was completed in 1841, and officially opened and blessed on 8/10/1843. It is the oldest continuously used Catholic Church in Australia. It is now encorporated into Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Parish, Rosemeadow. A cemetery adjoins the church. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 12/1/2021 & 22/4/2021.
