Comments

The first St John's Anglican Church, Asquith was opened and dedicated in April 1923. In subsequent years two other churches were also built in the district - St George's at Mount Colah, opened in 1946, and Holy Trinity at Mount Kuring-gai, opened in 1954. Both have now closed. Holy Trinity was resumed to build the F3 Freeway and St George's closed in 1991, and was demolished in 2007. A new St John's was built about 1969 (now the Church Hall). In 2004 the current St John's was built. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 22/6/2020.
