The St Columb's Anglican Church, Arcadia. is part of the Parish of Dural District and the Diocese of Sydney, and functions in conjunction with St Jude's, Dural and Christ Church, Kenthurst. The church building was opened on 21/9/1907. "In his Presidential Address to Synod on 24 Sept 1907, Archbishop William Saumarez Smith stated: 'As lately as last Saturday, another interesting function took place in a somewhat remote settlement in the extensive parish of Castle Hill, beyond Dural and Galston. The name sounds rustic and poetical. But I reached 'Arcadia' (that is the name) by a motor car, which seemed an incongruous, although a very convenient and expeditious method of going to 'Arcadia'! There I dedicated a small, neat wooden church by the name of St. Colomb.'" [Quote provided by Damien Clark 6/2025]. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 15/6/2020.
