The Lanyon Valley Anglican Church, Gordon is in the Parish of Lanyon Valley and part of the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The Lanyon Valley church began as a church plant by St Matthew's, Wanniassa in about 2006. The church now partners with Anglicare to run the Gordon Community Centre, and holds its morning worship services in the Gordon Primary School, Knoke Ave., and in the Gordon Community Centre in the afternoon. The church was also instrumental in planting a new church called Renew Anglican Church, in Greenway, which was publicly opened on 19/3/2017. It meets in Lake Tuggeranong College in Greenway.
