The Salvation Army - Gungahlin Corps is part of The Salvation Army Australia, an international Christian movement, which holds regular worship at this location. The local Corps/church began in 1995 when a small group prayed for the opportunity to share the gopsel in the area. A congregation grew and first worshipped in Hoskins Street, Mitchel, then the Scout hall in Gungahlin, then a business centre at the corner of Lysaght and Hoskins Streets, and now in The Valley Avenue in Gungahlin [Sourced from: https://www.salvationarmy.org.au/gungahlin/about-us/our-story/]. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 1/11/2025.
