The North Belconnen Uniting Church, Melba is part of the Canberra Region Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The congregation held its first meeting in the Melba Primary School on 4/3/1973, with the Anglican Church, and soon became part of a Co-operating Parish. This continued until it was disolved in 1982, when the Anglians formed their own parish. During the period of the Co-operating Parish and later the Melba Uniting Church, the Sunday School, Youth Group, Adult Fellowship and the Day Care Centre ministries began, together with many other activities. The congregation moved into its own church building in June 1990. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 31/10/2025.
