The St Philips' Anglican Church, O'Connor is in the Parish of O'Connor and part of the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The parish began as an offshoot of St John's parish immediately after WWII. The planning for St Philip's church building began when a site lease was granted in 1951.  A church hall was opened in 1958, with the church building being opened and dedicated on 16/12/1961 by Bishop Clements. It was consecrated in 1981, after a dedicated effort to clear the church debt in 1980. For a period, 2011-2015 a Dinka/South Sudenese congregation met in the church. The Lamberton Centre for St Philip's Care was opened and dedicated on 20/9/2014, by the Rt Rev Stuart Robinson, Bishop of Canberra & Goulburn. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 21/10/2025.
