The Tuggeranonng Uniting Church, Wanniassa is part of the Canberra Region Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The church began with a meeting in the Mt Neighbour School in Kambah, in February 1975. The need for a place of  worship arose from the growth of families in the new developing Tuggeranong Valley area, and their desire for Christian worship. By 1976 meetings had begun in Village Creek, Urambi, Mt Neighbour and Wanniassa primary schools. This coincided with the formation of the Uniting Church in June 1977 and lead to the formation of the Kambah-Wanniassa Uniting Church. Plans to erect a church building, to accommodate the four worshipping communities, began in 1987. The church building was opened in April 19881. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 23/9/2025.
