The St David's Anglican Church, Red Hill is part of the Parish of Manuka (with St Paul's, Manuka) and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The parish was established in 1950, with the Rev Ross Border inducted as the minister. St Paul's continued to grow and a short distance away the Red Hill population expanded. A Sunday School was commenced in the local school in June 1960, with church services beginning in March 1962. Two years later a site for the St David's Anglican Church was dedicated. However, by the late 1960s and 1970s the Sunday School population decllined drastically and the financing of the parish was under strain, compounded by high inflation. Nevertheless  the erection of St David's proceeded and the church building was opened in July 1972. In 1992, an aged-care facility was opened next to St David's in St David's Close. The Warden of the Close provides pastoral care for residents and liturgical life to St David's. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 20/9/2025.
